Nintendo Donkey Kong

I grew up playing Donkey Kong on a Nintendo my brother may or may not have “creatively financed”… I can’t confirm that part. What I can confirm is how much fun I had working on this project. I even convinced the creative team to push for the slam at the end of the end card, which I think it really connected the rest of the spot.

Here’s another end card I animated for a social campaign celebrating the release of Donkey Kong. These kinds of pieces are always a fun challenge because you have to pack a lot of energy and brand personality into just a few seconds.

Zelda and Mario Cart 8

Here are a few animated TV Wall pieces I created for the launch of the Limited Edition Zelda Gold Switch and two separate promos for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch. These videos played in Target’s TV Wall and Nintendo console sections, as well as in GameStop’s Nintendo section. My favorite part? My son and I happened to catch the Mario Kart version playing at Target—it was pretty special seeing his reaction to something I worked on.

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
Social Campaign

I got asked to work on the Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Social Campaign. For this campaign I created an animated package, animated supers, full screen character reveals and a variety of animated endcards. For these videos I created custom videos for 30,15, and 6 seconds spots, as well as 16x9, 1,x1, 4x,5 and 9x16, at the end of the project I created around 70+ different assets, and the final ship on these spots was over 700 pieces. A tough project, but learned a bunch of new techniques in the process that I will carry over to new projects.
