Straight Talk Case Study

I helped bring a rebrand case study for Straight Talk to life—a project that went through several direction shifts and was touched by a few different animators along the way. I always enjoy stepping into a project mid-stream and seeing how others approach the creative process. For this one, we had a set of pre-existing pattern assets to work with, which became a fun challenge: figuring out how to create seamless, looping patterns that fit the animation style and effectively told the story of the brand’s evolution.

Here are some of the looping animations that ended up being used on a website case study.

Bouncy Kids

I got to jump in and create some graphical support elements for the Bouncy Kid spots for Straight Talk. There were plenty of offer updates, pattern tweaks, and updated maps along the way. The best part was figuring out how to wrangle those bold patterns, finding ways to make them pop without overpowering the spots was a fun little design puzzle.
